Piggie tails

This is the first time that Maggie kept her pigtails in longer than a couple of minutes. Usually, she takes them out as soon as she gets in the car, but today she kept them in all day! Happy Mothers' Day to me!

Springtime is here!

Hurrah! The girls and I planted our spring garden over spring break. We've got lots of different herbs, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, squash and beans. Here are some photos of the garden when we first planted it almost three weeks ago, and some taken this morning. We've been getting a nice bit of rain and it is so gratifying to see the plants thriving. We also planted a lemon tree and a Satsumo orange tree which already have some little fruit on them!
