I want to remember some of the adorable things Thaddy says. For example, when he needs help with something, like when his shoe falls off or he needs help getting into a chair, he says, "help it, daddy". Kills me dead.

O'dark thirty

Sitting on the floor next to the toddler bed, trying to doze hunched over as if in an airplane, leg starting to tingle, with my arm bent at an awkward angle so she can "have the fquishy part", until the fever meds kick in and she falls asleep, I give thanks for the blessings of motherhood. Yes, even this one. 

Where does she get this stuff?

Laying in bed with KK, she kept asking me questions. I said, "I'm not here to chat." She said, "I'm not here to sleep. Heaven knows I've tried!"

Beauty sleep

KK to me just now as I tried to wake the girls up for church, "I need to get enough sleep, and that was truly not enough sleep."
